I received a message from Grandmother Moon, and she told me for the first time ever, "To take it to the people, to tell them." To tell them this was rather a shocking message, and I want to share this. Not so shocking, but shocking to me meaning in the sense that these are things that I have been praying for, for a long time and she told me not to do so. She told me, tell the people, not to spend so much time and so much energy praying for Mother Earth. She told me to tell the people, not to spend so much time and so much energy praying for world peace. I was really shocked because this is what I've done for the last 20 years of my life, hoping to insure a future for our grandchildren. Then she told me why. She told me Mother Earth has always taken care of herself and she always will. She said world peace will come in its own time, she said look at your sisters and one another. Heal each other, love each other, when you heal the earth will heal and world peace will prevail, tell the people. It's not out there, it's in here (gesturing to heart) where it's been placed, and not to forget it. If we remember this, we will have a future.

I don't think there's a day that goes by that I don't think about the future for our grandchildren. My Elders always told me not to worry about those things, but to plan for them.
